E3 Convention Attendees Get Surprise Party and POP-UP Concert with Snoop Dogg, Michelle Rodriguez and Michael Pena

The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2013 is currently taking place June 11-13, 2013, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, L.A. LIVE and other venues throughout the city. The event is open to Entertainment Software Association (ESA) members and non-members alike. Companies exhibiting include those involved in console, PC, online, and social and mobile game publishing and development, qualified business partners, as well as makers of video game hardware and peripherals.

Hundreds of attendees of the E3 gaming convention were treated to a surprise TURBO-charged party and pop-up concert with appearances from the cast of the upcoming Dreamworks animated film TURBO; Michelle Rodriguez, Michael Pena and Snoop Dogg.

Also featured was a tricked out TURBO taco truck, Virtual GT racing simulator and the TURBO Racing League Video Game.

The pop up concert had actors Rodriguez, who voices Paz, a mechanic, and Pena, who voices Tito, introduce Snoop Dogg to the stage at Nokia Plaza in L.A. Live.

An original song Let The Bass Go off the soundtrack for Turbo, by the multi-platinum recording artist, entertainment icon and actor, Snoop Dogg, was performed. Snoop also voices the character of Smoove Move in the film.

From the makers of Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda, the high-velocity 3D comedy TURBO opens in theaters July 17th.
