How To Survive A Plague screens at the Marchesa Hall and Theatre

The Austin Film Society hosts AFS Doc Nights and will screen How to Survive a Plague on Wednesday, May 15, 7pm, at the Marchesa Hall and Theatre. Present will be a special guest, Brian Zabcik (member of Act Up NYC) for a Q&A. General admission will be $8 adn for more details, visit www.austinfilm.org.

How to Survive a Plague is written by David France, Todd Woody Richman and Tyler H. Walk with cinematography by Derek Wiesehahn. It is in color and the run time is 120 minutes.

The film was an Official Selection at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, and was screened at multiple film festivals including New Directors/New Films, San Francisco International Film Festival, Provincetown International Film Festival, then in September had a limited theatrical release 2012. Earlier this year, it was nominated for an Academy Award in the Documentary Feature category.
