According to the online publication article of the Santa Fe New Mexican, 70 year old author Bobbi Salinas Norman was found in a condo in New Mexico by relatives who had not heard from her in some time and went looking for her.
Salinas earned a bachelor’s degree in education from California State University in Los Angeles and a master’s degree in public health education from the University of California, Berkeley. She was involved in the Chicano movement, was a bilingual teacher in the Oakland, California public schools in the 1980s and ran a publishing company, authoring several books.
As of yet, I have not found information available as to funeral or memorial services.
